Nitesh Nepali Dictionary 2.1

Nitesh Nepali Dictionary is a small offline application that translates a large number of English words to Nepali.

The interface is fairly simple as the left side grid contains the entire list of words and the center panel display the translated text. Unfortunately, the toolbar and settings are in Nepali, so if you are not and native you won't be able to work with that. The only things that you can take advantage as a non-Nepali speaker, is the translations and the search field.

If you only need the written translations the program will serve you well. A thing worth mentioning is that the app has no sound translation, that bot that spell the word for you after it was translated, so you have to work only with the Nepali text.

Regarding the cover, the list it's pretty long, covering a lot of word for every letter. Here comes in the search field, an easy way to jump to a given word without scrolling.

"Hamro Nepali Health" is developed by Hancie Wanem Phago and Sisir Khimding and powered by: Wanem Club. This apps is composed of many valuable information concerned with addressing the health care needs of adolescents. The main objectives of this program is to increase awareness among teen age boys and girls towards health related activities. It helps to ensure effective awareness among peoples and eventually improve their health conditions.

Visitors may notice that different pages sound like they were written by different people. That's because much of our content comes from kids themselves. While Wanem club edits the submissions for grammar, punctuation, and accuracy, we appreciate and try to protect the unique voice of each writer.

Our Mission

Nepal Kids Health will provide comprehensive health information and answers to specific questions for Bay Area teens. The information will be straightforward, clear, understandable, medically accurate, and up-to-date.

"Nepal Kids Health" will also serve as a resource for parents who want help in talking with their teens about sensitive issues, and for high school teachers who want to integrate health information into their classroom curriculum.

We will do this by providing the following:

• Rigorously reviewed, thorough, and complete health information on topics of current interest and concern to teens.
• Interactive activities to help teens assess, manage, and reduce their health risks and concerns.
• Teaching materials for teachers interested in teen health issues.
• A robust set of resources, content, and references for parents who want to help their teens with healthcare decisions.

Wanem Hindi Dictionary 2.0

Wanem Hindi Dictionary is such a tool, comprised of an offline database with Hindi and Dictionary words. It has two modes available, whether you want to translate Hindi to English or vice versa.

During setup, the app offers to associate itself with .mdb-formatted files as well as to automatically run every time you turn on the computer. It's wrapped in a clean and intuitive interface, where the default dictionary mode is set to Hindi-to-English.

Add new words to the dictionary

A basic search function is put at your disposal so that you can swiftly find a word and its meaning. If, by any chance, some words cannot be found here, then you have the possibility of adding new words to the database, especially if you plan on frequently using this program.

Hindi language rules can be studied when it comes to pronunciation, punctuation, irregular verbs, conversation, letter and essay writing, and symbols. The PC can be shut down immediately without leaving Wanem Hindi Dictionary's interface.  As far as configuration options are concerned, you can change the font and meaning colors.

Flawed but decent Hindi-to-English dictionary app

All characters from the Kruti Dev font can be examined in a table. However, there are no options implemented for copying or inserting the characters in documents. It seems that a text-to-speech function has been created too but doesn't deliver the output automatically. Instead, you can send text to the developer and wait for the human response (we can only assume this because we haven't noticed a box for entering your own email address to receive responses, unless you wish to only send feedback).

Taking everything into account, Wanem Hindi Dictionary has several flaws but seems to be a promising dictionary tool. We're looking forward to an automatic text-to-speech function, among other improvements.

In later days, accepting the request of web site and computer user our team will add Nepali to English dictionary as well.

This site and dictionary are in constant course of improvement. So any inaccurate words/meanings will eventually be amended by our linguistic experts. Over the years people struggle to find the right meaning and keen to learn the language. They sometime need to search around the internet to get the meaning and translation. This dictionary provides all these and provides meaning as well as translation.
